The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission invites eligible young people to apply to the America’s State Parks Ambassador Program, a national nonprofit organization that promotes the value and beauty of state park systems.

To be considered for the program, applicants must be between the ages of 16-28. They should also enjoy blogging, taking photos or videos and use social media. Eligible young people who apply in October will receive a welcome gift with a $10 value, and anyone selected to be an ambassador before Nov. 1 will be eligible to win a range of outdoor gear.

Different levels of prizes are available for those who fulfill various eligibility requirements like recruiting new ambassadors or entering creative contests.
