Alyeska’s Chair 6 has been replaced with a new high‐speed detachable quad. Anyone who visited last year will notice that the new Chair 6 is essentially the same as Ted’s Express, the high‐speed quad installed last year to replace the old Chair 4.
The resort has also installed a new weather station, upgraded utilities and installed natural gas.
