Celebrate the New Cascade Bicycling Center Nov. 15

Join Seattle Mayor Ed Murray, the Cascade Bicycle Club and the Cascade Bicycle Club Education Foundation from 10 a.m.-noon on Nov. 15 to celebrate the opening of the new Cascade Bicycling Center.
Located in Magnuson Park, the 8,000 square-foot community center will house the new Cascade Bicycle Club offices while also providing the community with a vibrant gathering space.
“This dynamic, beautiful and welcoming new space will provide an environment for our advocacy, events and education work to thrive as well as a gathering space for our members and friends,” says Elizabeth Kiker, executive director of Cascade. “Between our new strategic plan, the building of the Cascade Bicycling Center and the work happening around bicycling in the region, this is a great time to be here.”
The celebration will feature tours of the new space, books on bikes, balloon artists and powerful guest speakers. Coffee and breakfast treats will be provided at this all-ages event.
