Slime Run 5k: Get Slimed in Seattle April 5

Carnation, Wash.
Are you ready to get slimed? Ready or not, the Slime Run 5k makes its Washington debut on April 5 at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, Wash.
This one-of-a-kind obstacle event was inspired by, and includes, the same bright green ooze used in television shows like the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Race participants receive their own barrel of the slime to goop onto friends, family or strangers. They also receive a medal to show they’ve joined the “Slime Nation.”
The 5k has four different slime zones where runners make their way across tires and hurdles, down slides and through tunnels. There is also a pint-sized version of the slippery obstacle course for kids ages 10 and under, which is just under a mile long and includes two slime zones.
At the end of the race, people can head over to the slime toss, grab a bite to eat, dance or enjoy the beer garden.
