Digital Edition Launches

Carolyn Price

We’ve added a digital edition to our Outdoors NW family of resources.

What does this mean to you? It means that our entire publication is now reproduced online in basically the same format as it is in print.

Just log onto OutdoorsNW.com, click on one of our digital edition covers, and use the arrows each time you want to turn the page. It’s a great way to stay connected if you are traveling, moved out of the area or missed picking up your copy.

Additionally, we’ve hyperlinked each advertisement in our digital editions so you’ll be able to quickly and easily access our sponsors’ Web or e-commerce sites.

We entered the digital age in 1997 when we launched our first website. We added an E-Newsletter five years ago, upgrading to twice monthly just last summer due to higher reader demand. Facebook and Twitter accounts were added in 2010.

Though we’re still learning the social media ropes, we have high hopes for continuing to connect with you, our readers, as technology continues to evolve.

Even though our print version comes out every other month, we encourage you to sign up for our free E-Newsletter where we post relevant breaking news, publish event previews and announce sales and contests from our partnered advertisers. You can also enter to win in a variety of gear and getaway contests offered by Outdoors NW.

The print versions of our three publications — Outdoors NW, NW Cyclist and Western Snowsports aren’t going away — the digital additions are just icing on the cake.
