Outdoors NW at Warren Miller’s Flow State
Outdoors NW will be entering the Flow State this weekend as the Warren Miller film juggernaut rolls into Seattle. Look for our booth at the Saturday screening at McCaw Hall. A little bit of Idaho in Seattle
The Idaho Department of Tourism is bringing a bit of Idaho to Seattle this holiday season. The center atrium at Pacific Place, the downtown shopping destination, will be decorated with a 25-foot tall, suspended, hand-cut snowflake decoration in the shape of the great state of Idaho. The decorations were created by Seattle’s own Hens and Chicks Artist Collective and are part of a benefit for Providence Senior and Community Services. A tabletop version of the tree and a vacation package to Sun Valley Resort will be auctioned off as part of Providence’s “O Christmas Trees” celebration. Get out your holiday costume and your running shoes. The annual runs to benefit the Arthritis Foundation are starting soon. Go to www.arthritis.org to register.
