Celebrate Urban Nature

Seattle Parks and Recreation and EarthCorps will team up to host the fourth annual Celebrate Urban Nature event March 30 at Seattle’s Magnuson Park. The event, which will take place in the Community Center from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., will include live music, a petting farm, the Roving Reptiles Show, and an appearance by famous local gardener, Ciscoe Morris.

There will also be art and nature activities, a nature themed carnival, and interactive booths from environmental groups such as the Just Frogs Foundation, Bats Northwest, the Sarvey Wildlife Care Center and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Admission is $8 per family, or $3 per person.
