Lace up those running shoes: National Running Day is Wednesday, June 4! It also happens to be the “big 4-0” for Russell Benaroya – CEO and co-founder of Seattle tech startup EveryMove – and he’s celebrating his big day in a big way.

Russell Benaroya, is on a mission to inspire millions of Americans to live a more active lifestyle with EveryMove. On Wednesday, Russell will lead by example as he runs 40 miles for his 40th birthday.

His route will take him from his home on Mercer Island to various King County locations that have been significant in his life and success as a business leader in the community. He is dedicating the event to Girls on the Run with a donation.

Follow his run on Twitter with #40on40.
