Change of ownership for Tour de Whatcom

The Tour de Whatcom, one of Whatcom County’s most successful events, has transferred ownership. Todd and Jody Williams, who have run the ride for the last eight years, have transferred operation to Whatcom Events, who are known for operating some of the county’s best events, such as Ski to Sea and the Muds to Suds race. Whatcom Events intends to continue the Williams’ tradition of supporting nonprofits with the proceeds of the Tour de Whatcom. Riders should still expect the great rest stops along the route, staffed by local nonprofits. The beautiful scenery in Whatcom County will also remain unchanged.
