Many snow resorts will be reopen their doors for hiking and other summer activities soon. Summer operations begin with free lift rides June 30 on the Great Escape Quad at Schweitzer Mountain Resort; Crystal will open June 29 for scenic gondola rides and sunset dinners, while Mt. Bachelor will kick off activities July 4.
