Tennis Center Sand Point Celebrates Opening
Tennis Fest
Dust off those rackets. There’s a new tennis center in town!
Tennis Center Sand Point will host Tennis Fest, a grand opening celebration, at Magnuson Park Aug. 30-Sept. 2. The festivities will include free activities such as clinics, open-play time, instruction from tennis pros and a junior tournament for youth ages 6-16.
There will also be a gala event, “Ties and Tennies,” to benefit Brettler Family Place housing in Magnuson Park and its summer youth. Attendees are encouraged to dress in semi-formal attire with a pair of their favorite tennis shoes. Enjoy a locally-plated dinner, music, special guest speakers and a live auction. Tickets to the gala are $75 per person.
