The Mountaineers’ four-part BeWild Speaker and Film Series has included electrifying presentations from expedition kayaker Ben Stookesberry in April, Expedition Denali youths in May, and Northwest guidebook author Tami Asars in June.
The fourth and final presentation of the well-received BeWild series will be from wildlife biologist Douglas H. Chadwick and photographer Steven Gnam, Thursday, July 24. During their multimedia presentation, the duo will share images from their new coffee table book, Crown of the Continent: The Wildest Rockies, which illuminates one of the last intact mountain ecosystems in North America.
BeWild is hosted at the Mountaineers Seattle Program Center in Magnuson Park. Tickets are available for 300 attendees. The event will have a no-host bar and local food trucks.
