Seattle-based action sport and apparel retailer evo is opening a new location this October in Portland, Ore.
The store is taking root in a remodeled 120-year-old building — formerly the Salvation Army headquarters — at 200 SE MLK Jr Blvd, Portland, 97214.
“Portland is a natural extension for us, part of our broader community,” says evo founder, CEO and Oregon native, Bryce Phillips. “The opportunity to create an extraordinarily unique customer experience in a beautiful building with such a deep history is remarkable. We can’t wait to establish evo as a place for people who share a passion for skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, music, art, travel and the lifestyle that we live and breathe.”
