Leisure Games Benefit Feb. 15

Icicle Brewing Company hosts its annual Leisure Games to benefit the Ski Hill Memorial Project and the Cascade Education Foundation on Feb. 15 at the Leavenworth Festhalle in Leavenworth, Wash.
The Leisure Games are open to adults 21 and up, and offer a chance to slow down at the end of a busy week to enjoy games, music, beer and food.
Teams of four will compete at a leisurely pace at games like cornhole, washers, ladderball, ring toss, and horseshoes beginning at 1 p.m.
The MarchFourth Marching Band – a music and performance group from Portland, Ore. – will take the stage at 7 p.m., followed by the energetic Seattle rock band Kithkin.

Kickstand Easy Ale, a Leisure Games specialty beer, will be provided by Icicle Brewery Company. All proceeds from beer sales will benefit the Ski Hill Memorial Project.
Leisure foods – those foods that can be enjoyed with one hand, thus freeing up the other for leisure games or a relaxing beverage – will also be available for purchase. All food sales will benefit the Cascade Education Foundation.
The Ski Hill Memorial Project was created to support skiing and winter sports programs in Leavenworth and the Northwest and preserve the legacy of Johnny Brenan, Jim Jack, Chris Rudolph, and Daniel Zimmermann who died in separate avalanches in 2012. To learn more, go to www.skihillproject.org
