New Mailbox Peak Trail Grand Opening Sept. 27

The new, considerably more gradual Mailbox Peak Trail is here! And, the trail’s grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. on Sept. 27.

Volunteers will be then be invited to help to finish up a few remaining trail improvements from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in celebration of National Public Lands Day. Work or hiking boots and long pants are required, and volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
