Snowshoes.com presents its third annual set of Get Going! workshops at REI locations around the country. Northwest events will take place on Dec. 10 in Seattle, Wash., Dec. 12 in Issaquah, Wash., and Dec. 19 in Portland, Ore.
The free workshops are designed to give snow-lovers of all levels an in-depth overview of snowshoe technology, proper techniques and local winter resources, as well as expert advice on dressing for the outdoors, essential gear and overall outdoor awareness.
Along with providing winter workshops, the Snowshoes.com community features free resources for finding snowshoeing trails, connecting with other snow enthusiasts and learning more about the sport.
