A fast moving snowstorm dumped 11 inches on the upper mountain with 5 inches at the base at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on Nov. 10. This storm kicked off a favorable change in the weather for the mountain, and the resorts’ snowmaking team is taking advantage of an increase in snowmaking capacity for this winter to get the season started for thanksgiving.

Jackson Hole is offering up a special Ski Free Stay Free package (one free day of skiing and one free night of lodging) this winter, and the resort has $200 and $300 flight credits available on select packages and non-stop flights from Seattle to Jackson over the holidays and weekends.
