The northwest is also great if you’re into randonneuring; there’s the Oregon Randonneurs (http://www.orrandonneurs.org/), the Seattle International Randonneurs (http://www.seattlerandonneur.org/), and the Desert River Randonneurs in the Tri-Cities area of eastern WA (https://www.google.com/search?q=desert+river+randonneurs&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a). A list of northwest randonneuring events is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0Auw9vX5ZpVQSdG5iSEV1UE9zU00td0RWQkpORHM2QVE&output=html.
