REI Celebrates Silverdale Grand Opening Oct. 4
Silverdale, Wash.
REI’s newest store will open its doors on Oct. 4 in Silverdale, Wash. The store will host a weekend of events, classes, free food and giveaways for co-op members and the local community on Oct. 4-6.
The first 200 people to visit the store will receive a limited-edition CamelBak water bottle and an REI gift card with between $10-100 on it. REI members and customers will also be able to enter to win gear sweepstakes packages, featuring GoPro, snow sports and travel products.
A complimentary continental breakfast will be served one hour before opening each morning, and treats will be provided by Monica’s Waterfront Bakery and Papa’s Place over the course of the weekend.
REI Silverdale will offer top brands of gear and clothing for camping, climbing, cycling, fitness, hiking and more – as well as shop services for bikes, skis and snowboards. Store hours will be 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturdays, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sundays.
